GeographyGeorgia is a southern colony in the New World. Along the coast of Georgia, there are swamps with fertile soil, more inland, the plains are filled with fertile, red clay soil, and in the western region of the colony, it is forested and mountainous. The fertile soil in the Province of Georgia benefited the crops grown greatly despite the heavy showers in the summer.
